What is a cookie?
This might seem a strange question on a website dedicated to cooking en baking but of course we don’t refer to the cookies made from dough here. A cookie is a little bit of text that we sent to your browser that helps us to save some settings so that we can show the website to your preferences the next time you visit it.
Why do I get the message about cookies?
In some countries (like the Netherlands where we are based), the law requires that a visitor is informed about the use of cookies and that he or she accepts the placement of cookies.
What kind of information is stored?
We actually only use cookies for disabling pop-ups. Once you close a pop-up or subscribe to our newsletter in a pop-up, you don’t want to get that same pop-up over and over again. To prevent this happening, we place a cookie on you computer. Before a pop-up pops up, we’ll check whether the cookie is on your system. If it is there no pop-up will appear.
Do you store my personal data or my browsing history?
No, absolutely not! As described in the previous paragraph, we only use cookies to prevent pop-ups from driving you crazy.
Do you use my data for commercial use?
No. We don’t store your personal data and won’t use it for commercial purposes nor sell it to other companies.
